Lunaria Payne is a virtual singer, created and produced by Boxedge, who has defined her as his Cybernetic Angel. She comes to life through 3D animations by PZ and a synthetic voice programmed directly by Boxedge, making her a unique and unmistakable artistic entity.

Lunaria Payne is the synthetic form through which Boxedge expresses his music—whether by composing and producing original songs or by reshaping classic tracks from bands he has always admired, such as The Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, and Killing Joke, into electronic reinterpretations.

Boxedge coined the term Cyber Noir to define Lunaria Payne’s eclectic identity— a fusion of dark electronic soundscapes and evocative atmospheres, balancing introspection and emotional tension.

Musically, Lunaria Payne moves within a universe dominated by dark electronic sounds, yet ventures into unexpected sonic territories, from darkwave/synth-pop to cyberpunk, while always maintaining a melancholic and sophisticated nature.
