For years, his work explored the collision between electronic music and the darker languages of the 1980s: goth, darkwave, new wave and post-punk. That phase included both original compositions and numerous reinterpretations of songs from that era.

From mid-2026, the project began to evolve.

Boxedge moved away from covers and revival, toward a more defined original language: electronic songs set in a near future shaped by repetition, illusion and decline.

The new work draws from R&B, reggae, blues and industrial textures, but does not aim to reproduce those genres. They are transformed into the musical language of a world that feels close, plausible and already in motion.

Boxedge is also a Senior Software Engineer. Technology is not simply a subject in his work: it is part of the way he thinks, composes and builds.

In 2019, he created Lunaria Payne — his cybernetic angel — as a hybrid artistic presence designed to give voice and form to his music and thought.
